I have seen plenty of award shows and red carpet in my short 22 year old life. Tonight just felt like any other award show but with plenty of disappointing wins. So let the rant begin...
- Jimmy Kimmel was just as disappointing as I thought he was. Monologue wasn't funny at all. Opening video was a yawn fest. Pass the popcorn and let's move on.
- I hate the way they divide the awards into categories with comedy, reality, drama, mini series. The first section is always comedy and begins the Modern Family portion of the program. I am determined that the Emmy committee is having an affair with the show. I am convinced that next year they will add a category of Best Child in a comedic role and every child in Modern Family will be nominated.
- HOW, how can Mayim Bialik, Jim Parsons, or anyone from Big Bang Theory not win. Anyone who can say those things with a straight face deserves a gold shinny award. I am NOT OK with this.
- I am here to tell you Amazing Race is so boring. I don't get what the excitement is all about. How did they win against The Voice or Top Chef. I don't get it. Someone explain it to me because I am baffled by it.
- Tom Bergeron wins for Reality Show Host...FINALLY!!! How do you like that Honey Boo Boo Child?!?!
- Drama bores me #truth
- Still don't get how Smash wasn't nominated
- Variety and Reality should just be combined. Unless we get to see a Neil Patrick Harris musical number Live, I don't really care to hear speeches from Jon Stewart or any of those people. All the guys have already changed the channels to check the score of the NFL game. They don't care to watch Jon Stewart make a fool of himself.
- Mini series and short film needs to be the first thing presented. Can you say snooze fest?
- Homeland won Best Drama and I become offended I don't get to see Jon Hamm on stage. Obama Endorsed and I approved that message.
- Big Bang Theory was robbed. Just saying.
