When I heard that they were going to try to do the co-host deal like last year with Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin, I was disappointed. But the idea that Anne Hathaway was going to be hosting was amazing but then when I heard her co-host I was not impressed. Yes, to some he is the Ryan Reynolds or Josh Groban of my eyes. But he just has always appeared to not always be here on Earth with us and I don't like that. Then all the promos started to show up on my YouTube Subscriptions and I was laughing and really getting excited about the show.
So this morning when I woke up, I was excited to see what they would do and see what Anne would wear. The Red Carpet was good. Then, we open with the awkward video and it was then that I knew we would be in for a LONG night. How can writers come up with such awkward jokes for an award show. To be blunt, not only do they have no chemistry, but they just looked awkward together. He was so out of it. Anne's flawless wardrobe was the only thing worth watching and let's not forget the acceptance speeches.
All the awards went to the same people that have won at The Golden Globes and The Screen Actors Guild. Yawn. Songs were horribly off. Yawn. Then we have the 1 minute monologues from the presenters Justin Timberlake and Kirk Douglas. Funny but Yawn. I could go on and on but then you would be yawning.
My Favorite moment's...
- Melissa Leo's Outburst: It has to be on YouTube Now...All I have to say is Classy....NOT!
- Natalie Portman Winning: I love her! I love that she won and has everything happening in such a domino effect but I really hope that she breaks the Oscar Curse.
- Sandra Bullock: Hola! I swear this woman doesn't get the credit she deserves. What a lady! She needs to Host in 2012 and make this show what it was when Hugh Jackman hosted 2 years ago. The Best!
- Anne's Wardrobe: Every time she stepped on the stage my jaw dropped.
So hard to believe that it is over and I was so bored I painted my nails.
Ugh...Until Next year.
